Chapter Events - 2007

The Long Island Chapter has been busy this year. Here are highlights of some of our events.
Homecoming 2007 - Alumni Regatta Saturday, 29 September The Long Island Chapter fielded the much-feared "A Team" that commanded the J-24 PENDRAGON in four races on a gorgeous and suitably breezy fall afternoon. It was great fun and we hope to induce others to form an additional team or two next year to represent the Chapter at Homecoming. The Long Island A Team: Hoss Miller '53 Harry Stumme '65 Carmine Pizzariello '70 Dave Nieri '72 Had there been an award for consistent performance, we would have assuredly won it with our outstanding record.

Baseball !! L.I. Ducks vs. the Road Warriers 14 July 2006 On a beautiful Friday evening, July 14th, the Chapter enjoyed a winning Ducks game at their Islip Stadium. Besides being a beautiful summer evening, the champion L.I. Ducks won 3-2 against the Road Warriors.
The Long Island Chapter's Annual General Membership Meeting 18 May 2006 at The Bonwit Inn Commack, NY VADM Craine, Acting President of the Maritime College, was the Chapter's Guest Speaker
Casual Alumni Night Pizza, beer and good conversation flowed at the Chapter's Casual Alumni Night at Bertucci's Restaurant and Pizzeria on 16 February
