Dear Fort Schuyler Graduate:

I am requesting your consideration and generosity for the Alumni Association's Summer Sea Term Appeal (SST) in support of cadets embarking on cruise.

Each year the FSMAA provides over 100 scholarships to deserving and needy students. The SST is the foundation of the nautical and practical education which makes the Fort Schuyler experience unique. With the implementation of the 90 day cruise for 1st Class cadets, the need for support from us is greater that ever.

The SST is critical to the careers of our cadets and the mission and training of Fort Schuyler. They need our help now. All of the money donated will be designated for 2011 SST cadet scholarships. Details of the SST scholarship program are available on the Association website www.fsmaa.org.

This extraordinary effort will end on March 15, the same date on which SST applications from cadets close. Please do what you can to demonstrate our support for the cadets who carry the Fort Schuyler tradition forward.
